Numerous co-operations with international partners have been made and are ongoing for this purpose. Furthermore, APA-PictureDesk creates its own pictures (press, advertising, and industrial photography) for national and international distribution, as well as commissioned productions of photos and graphics.
Eisenbacher Medienbeobachtung (media oberserver) GmbH is a 100 percent subsidiary of APA-Beteiligungsmanagement GmbH (holding management) and offers information search in all established media. 1.800 Austrian print media, as well as features from ten national radio and TV stations are constantly being observed; either topical or by term.
Keystone AG was founded in 1953 and is the exclusive representative of renowned international photographers and the leading news photo, special photo and stock photo agencies in Switzerland. A network consisting of ten regional offices, employing more than 20 full time photographers, as well as numerous free lancers, serves all Swiss newspapers and most of the weekly and monthly magazines, Internet portals, and the Swiss TV network. Among the customers are also a large number of advertising agencies as well as the communication departments of major banks, insurances, service companies, and industrial corporations. Keystone offers news and special topic images, as well as catalogue and history-related photos. Currently more than two million pictures are available in the digital photo database, and an additional 11 million photos are on hand in the archive. Polish News Bulletin Sp.zo.o (PNB) was founded in 1946 as part of the British Embassy in Warsaw. Since 2006 the APA-Beteiligungsgesellschaft has taken over 69.3 percent of PNB. PNB provides embassies with a total of 70 English media summaries every day, as well as special publications. Since the beginning of 2006, the PNB publications are also available to Austrian customers in the APA-DeFacto media database.
