The Austrian news agency APA is an integrated information enterprise that provides the media, political institutions and businesses with news, information and IT services.
Independent of state, government and political parties, it fulfils its tasks based on the principles of reliability, speed and balance and refrains from any bias or partiality. Its owners are 15 Austrian dailies and the national broadcasting service ORF, which together ensure APA's independence and impartiality.
As Austria's leading information service provider, APA is one of only 20 news agencies worldwide that operate independently of state and government.
